AIR FORCE ANNOUNCES FINAL LEIS FOR NTTR
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. – The U.S. Air Force has prepared a Final Legislative Environmental Impact Statement for the Nevada Test and Training Range Land Withdrawal at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The LEIS analyzes the potential environmental effects of the proposal to extend and potentially expand the existing NTTR Land Withdrawal to support long-term test and training, and other national defense activities beyond the expiration of the current range land withdrawal date of November 6, 2021. The final document will be published in the Federal Register on October 26, 2018 and can be viewed at www.NTTRLEIS.com. The final document can also be viewed at the following libraries:
