57th Weapons Squadron Commander Relieved of Duties

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- The commander of the 57th Weapons Squadron was relieved of his position Feb 13.

 

Col. Michael Drowley, United States Air Force Weapons School commander, removed

Lt. Col. Charles Polomsky, as commander of the 57th Weapons Squadron due to a loss of confidence in his abilities to carry out his duties.

 

Lt. Col. David Myrick, 57th Weapons Squadron director of staff, will assume responsibility of the squadron effective immediately.

 

The 57th Weapons Squadron is located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst and is one of 18 Weapons Squadrons at nine locations across the country. Their training focus is the C-17 Globemaster III.
