Mr. Isaiah “Ike” Patterson, a Tama Lodge operations assistant with the 374th Force Support Squadron, passed away of natural causes, April 29, 2021. He was 88.

“Ike was somewhat of a fixture at Tama Lodge, having worked there for so long,” said Jeff Heagerty, Tama Hills manager. “He enjoyed chatting with guests in the dining room and went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. His co-workers had great respect for his enduring work ethic and engaging personality.

“He always showed tremendous care for others and loved sharing his personal experiences, which were rich and plentiful, sharp and witty right up until his last moments, Ike’s love for life and genuine care for the well-being of others will be remembered by all who knew him.”

A celebration of life event will be held to honor the life of Mr. Patterson at a later date.
