An airman from Creech Air Force Base, Nev., runs from zombies down Tyndall Road Oct. 26, 2013, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The Zombie 5 kilometer Run, hosted by the Nellis and Creech AFBs’ Dorm Council, began at Freedom Park and concluded at the Nellis Sports Pavilion. Each participant wore flags similar to flag football during the run. At certain points runners were chased by zombies and forced to sprint as fast as they could to escape their clutches. If a runner’s flag was pulled, the participant was considered overtaken by the zombies. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Thomas Spangler)
