Evelyn Chavez 455th Expeditionary Wing Public Affairs BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- The 577th Expeditionary Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force Squadron recently built a new security fence around the airfield at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The squadron is forward deployed from the 1st Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The 577th EPBS brings together civil engineering Airmen from across several specialties to perform forward deployed construction work. The unit's mission includes construction, assessments and repairs on assigned projects.
