NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Airmen and community members gathered at the Warrior Fitness Center for the unveiling of the new Nellis heritage panel during the 75th anniversary of the renaming of Nellis Air Force Base on May 20. The panel stands as a permanent tribute to 1st Lt. William Harrell Nellis, who was killed in action during the Battle of the Bulge.
