U.S. Air Force Col. Eric Winterbottom, commander of the 414th Combat Training Squadron, highlighted the historical significance of Bouley Hall and discussed the role of Red Flag exercises at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, on April 3, 2025. He emphasized Red Flag's international participation, noting that 29 countries have joined the U.S. in these exercises, which offer extensive training opportunities. Winterbottom also engaged with the squadron's maintenance personnel, who provided insights into the requirements of visiting units during Red Flag. The squadron's heritage room, named Moody’s after Lt. Col. Richard "Moody" Suter, honors Suter's critical role in establishing Red Flag in 1975.
