NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Staff Sgt. Jason Parker, 66th Rescue Squadron aerial gunner, performs a pre-flight check on a 50-caliber machine gun mounted on an HH-60G Pavehawk helicopter. The squadron, based at Nellis AFB, Nev., provides worldwide rescue support for the combat air forces. A typical crew consists of a pilot, co-pilot, aerial gunner, flight engineer and two pararescuemen.
