A prestigious Air Force concert band will perform several free concerts throughout Southern Nevada this month.

The public is encouraged and welcome to attend. The 47 members of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West concert band will feature overtures, marches, instrumental soloists and vocalists. Expect patriotic music, of course! Major R. Michael Mench is the commander and conductor.

The "Boston Brass," a world renowned brass ensemble, will perform as guest artists with the concert band at the Las Vegas and Henderson concerts only. The "Boston Brass" repertoire includes pieces from classical harmony to burning jazz standards.
