Predator veers off runway at Creech Published June 5, 2008 By Capt. Augustine Ekpoudom 432nd Wing Public Affairs CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- An MQ-1 Predator assigned to the 11th Reconnaissance Squadron here departed the runway here on landing today at approximately 1:00 pm. There were no injuries. The unmanned aircraft system was returning from a training mission. The aircraft is a medium-altitude, long-endurance, remotely piloted aircraft. The Predator's primary mission is conducting armed reconnaissance. A board will be convened to investigate the mishap.
