'Spread the Word' teams to brief Nellis and Creech Published April 9, 2009 By 2nd Lt. Kristine Espinola 99th Force Support Squadron NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Airmen and civilans are encouraged to attend an Air Force Personnel Center 'Spread the Word' briefing to be held at Nellis' base theater, April 29 at 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The same briefing is scheduled at Creech's base theater combined briefing room, April 30 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The 'Spread the Word' briefing will provide information about personnel issues, delivery transformation and give Airmen face-to-face interaction with AFPC to address concerns and provide feedback. Additional topics to be covered will include 365-day deployment options, the Air Expeditionary Force tempo-banding system, civilian hiring procedures and assigment processes. The teams will consist of military/civilian assignment experts and deployment experts. These experts will answer questions at the end of each briefing. "One of the Air Force's top priorities is to develop and take care of our Air Force people, and we want to hear form you about what works and what we can improve," said Maj. Gen. K.C. McClain, AFPC commander. "Our AFPC teams look forward to sharing useful information with you and receiving feedback on what's important to you."
