Nellis' Warrior of the Week, announced

The Nellis Warrior of the Week from June 15 to 19 is Tech. Sgt. Landon Smith, a 99th Force Support Squadron manpower and organization technician. 

How long have you been in the Air Force? 
14 Years and 6 months

How long have you been at Nellis? 
1 Year

What is your hometown?
Ogden, Utah

What does your job consist of?
I manage manpower and organization functions, including structure, manpower standards and military/civilian/contracting manpower resources.  I also review unit manpower documents with commanders to help assess the best mixture of people to accomplish the mission. 

Why did you join the Air Force? 
It's a family tradition. 

What are your Air Force goals?
To obtain my  7-level, complete my  Community College of the Air Force degree and become a first sergeant. 

Who is your role model?
My dad. 

What is the one thing you wish you were told when you joined the Air Force?
Nothing, I was informed of the in's and out's by my family. 

What is your dream job and why?
To be an architect. I would like to be able to put my thoughts down onto paper and later have it become something for everyone to see. 

If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would buy?
BMW M6

What motivates you at work?
Learning a new job and seeing another side of the Air Force. 

What distinguishes Sergeant Smith from his peers? (from supervisor)
Tech. Sgt. Smith has been a welcome addition to the manpower team. He has quickly picked up his new job and responsiblities, leaving no doubt that he will excel in the manpower career field and thoughout his Air Force career.
