Two civilian contractors were killed in a single-vehicle accident while working on the Nevada Test and Training Range Aug. 4.

Curtis Fowler, age 55 of Tonopah, Nev., and Sean Ryan, age 34 of Las Vegas, Nev., were killed when a fuel truck they were operating rolled over at approximately 12:50 p.m. near the Tonopah Air Field located approximately 125 miles northwest of Nellis AFB and 35 miles southeast of Tonopah, Nev. Both individuals worked for Trend Western Technical Corporation - a subsidiary of Del-Jen Inc. Trend Western is a subcontractor for CSC, which provides range support services under a contract with the 98th Range Wing at Nellis Air Force Base.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time," said Col. John Montgomery, 98th Range Wing commander.

The cause of the accident is unknown and is under investigation.
