Human Remains found on Nellis Published Oct. 30, 2009 By Tech. Sgt. Aileen Carter Nellis Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Human remains were found in a vacant desert area within the northeast portion of Nellis Air Force Base, adjacent to Federal land around Sunrise Mountain, on the morning of Oct. 30. The incident is under investigation by the U.S. Air Force, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Clark County Coroner. More information will be released as it becomes available.
