Specific individuals are not identified. Article 15 Actions: During December 2009 and January 2010, Nellis and Creech commanders administered 21 nonjudicial punishment actions under Article 15 of the UCMJ. The punishments imposed reflect the commander's determination of an appropriate punishment after considering the circumstances of the offense and the offender's record. A "suspended" punishment does not take effect unless the offender engages in additional misconduct or fails to satisfy the conditions of the suspension. The suspension period usually lasts for six months unless a lesser period is specified. Misuse of Government Travel Card--An airman first class received a reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand. Absent without leave--A senior airman received a reduction to the grade of airman first class, restriction to the limits of Nellis for 25 days, 20 extra duty days and a reprimand. Assault--A staff sergeant received a reduction to the grade of senior airman and a reprimand. Larceny--An airman received a reduction to the grade of airman basic, forfeiture of $315 pay per month for two months, restriction to Nellis for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. Failure to go--A second lieutenant received forfeiture of $1,327 pay per month for two months, suspended forfeiture of $600 pay per month for two months and a reprimand. Failure to go and incapacitation for duty--An airman received a reduction to the grade of airman basic and a reprimand. Assault--A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction in rank to senior airman, suspended forfeiture of $667 pay per month for two months, restriction to the limits of Nellis for 30 days and a reprimand. Dereliction of duty, failure to go, and underage drinking--An airman first class received reduction to the grade of airman basic, forfeiture of $699 pay per month for two months, restriction to the limits of Nellis for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. Failure to go--An airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, restriction to Nellis for 10 days and a reprimand. Underage drinking and driving under the influence--An airman first class received a reduction to the grade of airman. Disrespectful conduct towards a noncommissioned officer--An airman first class received suspended reduction in rank to the grade of airman, forfeiture of $350 pay per month for two months and seven days extra duty. Misuse of Government Travel Card--A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction in rank to the grade of senior airman, forfeiture of $1,109 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. Misuse of Government Travel Card--A senior airman received a suspended reduction in rank to the grade of airman first class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. Soliciting a supervised subordinate for money--A technical sergeant received a reduction to the grade of staff sergeant, suspended forfeitures of $1,462 and restitution of $730 to the subordinate solicited, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. Driving under the influence--An airman first class received a reduction to the grade of airman basic, suspended forfeitures of $723 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. Dereliction of duty and theft--An airman first class received a reduction to the grade of airman, restriction to Nellis for 30 days and a reprimand. Failure to go on diverse occasions and signing a false official statement--An airman first class received a reduction in rank to the grade of airman basic, restriction to the limits of Nellis and/or Creech for 30 days and a reprimand. Signing a false official statement and wrongful appropriation of funds--A senior airman received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman first class, suspended forfeiture of $773 pay per month for two months, both conditioned on paying back the wrongful appropriated funds, and a reprimand. Dereliction of duty on diverse occasions (GTC violation)--A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of senior airman, suspended forfeiture of $1,146 pay per month for two months and a reprimand. Communicating a threat--An airman received a reduction in rank to airman basic. Drunk and disorderly--An airman first class received a suspended reduction in rank to the grade of airman basic, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
