Team Nellis and Creech welcome the Air Force's newest senior master sergeants Published March 4, 2010 By Airman 1st Class Michael Charles Nellis Public Affairs Office NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Team Nellis and Creech welcomed 31 new senior master sergeants after the announcement of the newest selectees was released March 4. Air Force officials selected 1,450 of 13,216 eligible master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant for a selection rate of 10.97 percent. Last year's selection rate was 8.77 percent.
