Nellis spouse Christina Hillard was recently named winner of the short video competition on the official Year of the Air Force Family website, MyAirForceLife.com.

Ms. Hillard, the wife of Tech. Sgt. Christopher Hillard from the 57th Maintenance Group, won the award for her short video, "What A Ride," featuring Master Sgt. Kim Castro, from the 57th MXG, and his son.

"I am very pleased to have won the contest," Ms. Hillard said. "I could not have won without the help of Sergeant Castro, his son and family."

The 99th Force Support Squadron marketing department presented Ms. Hillard with an Apple MacBook and a Panasonic digital video camera as her prize.

Ms. Hillard's interest in photography and video spans several years and has led to independent work taking photos for different events on and off Nellis. She and her husband have been stationed at Nellis for five years.

Sergeant Hillard added that the members of his unit are very happy and proud of Ms. Hillard and look forward to free photos and videos of future unit events, provided by Ms. Hillard and her new equipment.
