Nellis and Creech welcome newest lieutenant colonel, major selectees Published Aug. 27, 2010 By Senior Airman Michael Charles Nellis Public Affairs office NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Nellis and Creech welcomed 18 new lieutenant colonels and two new majors after the announcement of the newest selectees was released Aug. 27. The 2010A Lieutenant Colonel Line of the Air Force-Medical Service Corps and 2010A Major Medical Service Corps central selection boards selected 1,236 majors and 63 captains for promotion. The boards considered 6,272 majors and 75 captains for promotion.
