57th Wing recognizes its annual award winners Published Jan. 26, 2011 Nellis Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- The 57th Wing leadership recently announced its award winners for 2010 at a banquet held Jan. 21. The awards recognize Airmen and civilians in the 57th Wing who have performed exceedingly well in the workplace and have made outstanding contributions to the local community over the past year. The keynote speaker for the event was U.S. Rep. Joe Heck of Nevada. Congressman Heck is a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and commands a Medical Readiness Support Group. He is also a member of the House Armed Services Committee. Below is the list of the awards and winners. 57th Wing Airman of the Year: Staff Sgt. Nathan D.
