Any military member can become a member of the Air Force Club and begin receiving a variety of discounts on base.

There is a monthly fee associated with club membership and it is based on rank. For example, Air Force policy dictates junior enlisted Airmen do not pay more than four dollars in monthly dues.

But regardless of rank, all club members receive the same discounts for on base activities and food and drink purchases. The discounts offered at Nellis include:
- $25 in coupons when club membership is transferred to Nellis
- $1 off any meal at Nellis Clubs and Rickenbackers for bills of $4 or more
- $1 off a round of Skeet/Trap or $4 off Sporting Clays at the Rod and Gun Club
- 10% off personal functions at the Clubs
- 10% off stall fees at Auto Hobby Shop
- 5% off nightly fee at Desert Eagle RV Park
- 10% off shop fees at Arts and Crafts
- Purchase two games at the Bowling Center, get the third for free
- A chance to win thousands of dollars in scholarships

To become a club member, an individual must sign up for either a club MasterCard or a proprietary card.

A proprietary card is available for people who cannot or do not wish to open a private line of credit, but would like to become a club member and receive the discounts listed above.

A club MasterCard is an option for people who are able and willing to open a private line of credit. The MasterCard is a private credit card and, when the card is used, the holder will accumulate points: two points per dollar spent on base and one point per dollar spent off base. Once the holder accrues 2,500 points, he or she can redeem a cash-back reward. One hundred points is equivalent to one dollar. Additional benefits of the MasterCard include:
- 2% cash back for gas on base and for purchases at AAFES and Commissary
- 1% cash back on all off base purchases
- 10% off any single item (up to $200) purchased at the BX on the first Tuesday of each month
- Air Force Clubs feature full cashier service with free check cashing services
