The Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard is looking for volunteers for the next four month rotation with training starting on Sept. 19, 2011. Duty with the Base Honor Guard allows Airmen to honor fallen service members and veterans while gaining valuable leadership skills. Airmen also learn various types of drill and ceremony, and serve as how to representative the Air Force in both the military and civilian communities. Ideal candidates are E-1 to E-6 and company grade officers. If you are interested in volunteering, speak to your supervisor or First Sergeant. For more information on the program, contact Staff Sgt. Eric Lawlor at the Base Honor Guard, 652-4136.
