Richard Kice Air Force Assistance Fund Installation Project Office NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- As many people begin preparing for the big kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday, another team of individuals are getting ready for their own kickoff the Monday after the Super Bowl. This team is comprised of personnel around the installation who are representatives for this year's Air Force Assistance Fund campaign, which begins Feb. 6, 2012, and will run until March 16, 2012. This year, the goal for Nellis Air Force Base, Creech AFB, and the Nevada Test and Training Range AFAF representatives is to contact 100 percent of the personnel at these locations and to raise $192,016 for the campaign. The AFAF has a long history of providing worldwide critical assistance to Air Force members and their families. The AFAF also sponsors educational assistance programs and offers a variety of base community enhancement programs to improve Airmen and family welfare.
