Soldiers' Angels volunteers visit Nellis Published Feb. 7, 2012 Nellis Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Former National Football League players who are now volunteers with the Soldiers' Angels organization visited with Airmen and hospital patients Feb. 3, 2012, on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Franco Harris and Lyndell Mitchell autographed footballs and Super Bowl hats for Nellis Airmen and patients of the Mike O'Callaghan Federal Medical Center during their visit to the base. Soldiers' Angels is a volunteer-led, non profit organization that provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the U.S. Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard, U.S. veterans and their families.
