U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Warren Benge, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron first sergeant, Senior Airman Alexander MacPhail, 414th Combat Training Squadron system administrator, and Master Sgt. Brian Noethlich, 57th Operations Support Squadron first sergeant pose for the presentation of the first ever Diamond Sharp Award presentation April 5, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.

The First Sergeant's Diamond Sharp Award is designed to recognize an individual who truly stands out with abilities, sheer drive and characteristic traits most others do not possess. MacPhail was presented the award when he and his team installed the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system on 200 computers within three days and verified vital Integrated Maintenance Data System connectivity to 12 hangars in support of over 1000 Red Flag 12-3 missions flown.
