LeaveWeb updates from 3.5 to 4.0 Published March 11, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Monet Villacorte 99th Air Base Wing Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Nellis Air Force Base's new LeaveWeb system is now available for Airmen to use. The change was made from the 3.5 to the 4.0 version which has significantly changed its user friendliness Feb. 25. "The member can see their leave and pull it up easily while supervisors can see all the leave they have to approve and don't have to rely on a tracking number," said Senior Airman Jonathan Mook, 99th Comptroller Squadron budget technician. According to an article regarding the new change by Senior Airman Jordan Pollock, 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs, some of the new features that LeaveWeb 4.0 offers include: · All 18 types of leave can be managed from a central location for system and audit purposes. · Establishes a hierarchical view capability from the Air Force level through the various organizations to the individual members. · Requires digital signatures for all requesting and approving levels of military leave. Users will be required to re-register their Common Access Cards since the system has been revamped. To register for the new version of LeaveWeb, service members can go to the Air Force Portal reduced sign on link, pull up the LeaveWeb sign-on page and click on the register button. Then follow the instructions. Most of the information will already be pulled from the previous system for military members. For more information or if you have trouble registering on LeaveWeb, call the 99th Force Support Squadron Military Personnel Flight customer service office at 702-652-5212.
