Nellis youth wins state title Published March 19, 2013 By 99th Air Base Wing Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Angel Reynoso, Nellis Air Force Base Youth of the Year, won the Boys and Girls Club's State Youth of the Year title for Nevada March 13. Reynoso was chosen from seven finalists to represent the state at the regional Youth of the Year competition to be held later this year. Reynoso,17, is the son of Master Sgt. Benjamin Reynoso, 99th Medical Support Squadron, and Griselea Reynoso. He attends Centennial High School where he is a member of the Theater Club, is secretary of the Gold Level Keystone Club and was selected as a teen ambassador for the 2013 National Keystone Conference. Angel has volunteered at the youth center's adopt-family- program, rescue missions, homeless shelters and senior citizen homes. He has traveled to the Philippines and Mexico supporting church mission trips. He plans to attend Southern Nevada Community College and study business administration and theater.
