Airman 1st Class Brianna Harrison, 99th Civil Engineer Squadron structural specialist, removes a ceiling grid June 19, 2013, at the 99th CES Explosive Ordinance Flight building at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Harrison was selected as the Diamond Sharp Award recipient for June by members of the Nellis First Sergeants’ Association. The award is designed to recognize Airmen who truly stand out due to their abilities, sheer drive and leadership characteristics. Harrison helped to construct a 100-foot ventilation system for the 820th RED HORSE Dining Facility, saving the Air Force $25,000 in repair costs. Additionally, she was elected public relations officer for the Airmen Committed to Excellence organization, in which she will publicize and help execute events affecting the morale of more than 2,600 Airmen from Nellis and Creech AFBs.
