210th RQS brings CSAR to desert for Red Flag 16-1

Airman 1st Class David Hayes, 210th Rescue Squadron special missions aviator assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson, Alaska, mans the GAU-18.50 caliber machinegun of an HH-60 Pave Hawk at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Feb. 11. The HH-60 is a vertical take-off and landing aircraft that is deployable and capable of main base and austere location operations for worldwide search and rescue and joint personnel recovery missions.
