Making the grade: Airmen strive for fitness excellence

Senior Airman Robert Taylor, 99th Logistics and Readiness Squadron supply journeyman, keeps track of times during the running portion of the Air Force fitness assessment at the Warrior Fitness Center, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Aug. 11, 2014. The running portion of the test is a timed 1.5-mile run meant to test cardiovascular strength and endurance. Many Airmen have seen their run times improve after participating in the Health and Wellness Center’s six week running program, designed not only to improve running performance, but overall wellness.
