Red Flag-Nellis traditionally happens three times a year.
Red Flag 22-2 is March 4-18, 2022.
We will announce future exercise dates a few days before they are set to begin.
The aircraft that participate in Red Flag-Nellis vary with each iteration.
Red Flag-Nellis 22-2 will welcome around 14 units and approximately 1,750 participants from the USAF, Marine Corps, Navy and Air National Guard, Royal Saudi Air Force and Republic of Singapore Air Force.
The 366th Fighter Wing from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, will take the lead wing position as more than 55 aircraft, such as the B-1B, E-3, E-8, EA-18G, F-15SA, F-15E, F-16C/D, HC-130, KC-135, HH-60 and MQ-9 participate in complex mission scenarios against aggressor forces.
Only authorized personnel are allowed to access Nellis Air Force Base, and the flight line is restricted for official use only. If you're a member of the public, there are a variety of places off base near the end of the flight line where you will be able to view take offs and landings. Please do not block traffic and be respectful of private homes and businesses.
