The solar photovoltaic power system at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., is the largest solar photovoltaic array in the United States. There are plans to expand the 14-megawatt solar power production at the base. The Air Force recently signed a lease with Nevada Energy to add a 19-megawatt solar array.
