NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.-- The Nellis Honor Guard performs a 21 gun salute in honor of Major Russell Goodman outside the Thunderbird hanger, Jan. 14, 2010. Maj. Goodman served as the narrator for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds from 1964-65 and was declared Missing-In-Action after his aircraft was hit by a surface-to-air missile in Feb. 1967, while on a combat mission over North Vietnam.
