Christian Corella, 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron aerial gunner, June 15, 2011, at the 763rd Maintenance hangar. Sergeant Corella received the award for placing himself directly in the line of danger and returning enemy fire while evacuating an Afghan national and 40 U.S. Special Forces soldiers May 19, 2009, in Afghanistan.
