NEVADA TEST AND TRAINING RANGE

The Nevada Test and Training Range is responsible for the largest contiguous air and ground space available for military operations in the free world. With 1,200 possible targets, realistic threat systems and the support of an opposing enemy force that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world, the NTTR is home to America's most advanced aerial test and training environment, providing Airmen with a peacetime battlefield to hone their combat skills.

  • EOD fights fire with fire to ensure safety on NTTR

    Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians assigned to the 99th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) travel to the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) regularly to dispose of ordnance used for training purposes.

  • 726th ACS gives Red Flag eyes over the NTTR

    The 726th Air Control Squadron (ACS) are providing comprehensive radar coverage on the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) for all the pilots flying in Red Flag 19-2 this month.

  • USAFWC breaks ground on Virtual Test and Training Center

    Gen. Mike Holmes, Air Combat Command commander and Maj. Gen. Peter Gersten, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center commander, broke ground Feb. 8 on the Virtual Test and Training Center (VTTC), which will enable full-spectrum readiness through next-generation battlespace environments.
