The U.S. Air Force Warfare Center is headquartered at Nellis Air Force Base and reports directly to the Air Combat Command. The USAFWC ensures deployed forces are well trained and well equipped to conduct integrated combat operations. From testing and tactics development programs to training schools and venues, the USAFWC provides Airmen with proven and tested technology, the most current tactics, superb training and a unique opportunity to practice integrated force employment. The USAFWC vision, mission and priorities are central to supporting the Air Combat Command's mission to provide dominant combat airpower for America with warrior Airmen committed to excellence, trained to fly, fight, and win...anytime, anyplace. The USAFWC is comprised of approximately 13,000 personnel, active duty, guard, reserve and civilians.
In addition to the above USAFWC units, there are several tenant units located at Nellis Air Force Base.
