Members of the Nellis First Sergeants’ Association present the Diamond Sharp award to Staff Sgt. Vanessa Wyatt, 99th Civil Engineer Squadron fire protection technician, Jan. 23, 2013, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Wyatt led the response to 54 calls, covering the full spectrum of emergencies. Additionally, Wyatt acted as community advocate to the Las Vegas Women's Council of Realtors by expertly conducting fire safety briefings. Wyatt was hand selected to guide the wing commander through live fire burns, showcasing Nellis/Creech Fire Emergency Services.
