Nellis Air Force Base First Sergeants present Airman 1st Class Brittany Putman, 99th Civil Engineer Squadron engineer assistant, with the Diamond Sharp Award March 15, 2013, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Putman was hand-picked out of 11 Airmen as a disaster response force member for a $54 million MQ-9 predator aircraft mishap in a northern mountain range in Nevada. Her professionalism and sense of urgency were lauded by senior leadership. She also completed her Career Development Courses two months early, scoring a 95 on her end of course exam.
