Mr. Jeremiah M. Cross is the Vice Director, Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), headquartered at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The NTTR provides warfighters a flexible, realistic and multidimensional battlespace to conduct testing, tactics development, and advanced training in support of U.S. national interests. As a Department of Defense Major Range Test Facility Base activity, NTTR hosts numerous RED FLAG and U.S. Air Force Weapons School exercises each year. The NTTR also provides instrumentation and target maintenance support for GREEN FLAG-West at the National Training Center and Leach Lake Tactics Range, California. NTTR personnel coordinate operational and support matters with Air Force Major Commands, other armed services, Departments of Energy and Interior, as well as federal, state, and local government agencies. NTTR leadership conducts intergovernmental activities with sovereign Tribal Nations.
Mr. Cross received his commission through Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps in 2005 from The Citadel. He served as an acquisitions engineer, training instructor, and ROTC commandant. Following his active duty career, Mr. Cross was employed as a contract project engineer supporting efforts at Holloman AFB, Naval Military Sealift Command, Library of Congress, and deployed to stand up network capabilities at Camp Eggers, Kabul, Afghanistan. He reentered federal service as the Enterprise Deputy Branch Chief for NATO Special Operations Headquarters, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, Belgium. He originally joined the NTTR team in 2017 as Chief, Communications and Computers Division.
Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Cross served for five years as the Technical Director, NTTR Range Support.
