Chief Master Sergeant Jason K. Trickey is the Command Chief, 57th Wing, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. He serves as the principal advisor to the Wing Commander on all matters concerning readiness and utilization of more than 3,200 Airmen across 37 squadrons on 11 installations. The wing provides advanced, realistic, and multi-domain training focused on ensuring dominance through air, space, and cyberspace. It is comprised of the United States Air Force Weapons School, 57th Operations Group, 57th Maintenance Group, USAF Aerial Demonstration Squadron (Thunderbirds), and the USAF Advanced Maintenance and Munitions Operations School.
Chief Trickey enlisted in the Air Force in June of 1999. His background includes various duties in the air traffic control career field including control tower, radar approach control, terminal instrument procedures, and airspace management operations. The Chief has also served as in-garrison and deployed Senior Enlisted Leader at the squadron, group, and wing levels. He has served in Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, California, South Korea, Guam, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Arizona, Florida, and Nevada and has deployed in direct support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, and INHERENT RESOLVE.
Prior to his current assignment, Chief Trickey served as the Command Chief, 53d Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
