Air & Space Expo Parking

The 2017 Nellis Air Force Base, Air and Space Expo, the 99th Security Forces Squadron and their Law Enforcement Partners would like to minimize traffic congestion and provide spectators and Nellis personnel quick access to the base and parking areas. In response to feedback, Nellis has contracted more buses than in previous years in effort to reduce wait times getting to and from the Air Show.

General admission for the Air and Space Expo is free and public parking is located at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 Las Vegas Blvd N., Las Vegas, NV, 89115. Parking at the Speedway is free, and visitors will use round-trip shuttle bus transportation to and from Nellis Air Force Base. Please take note of the color of the parking lot you parked in. Each driver will receive a red or blue wristband to designate which lot their vehicle is located.

A handicapped parking area will be designated at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and handicapped-accessible shuttle buses will be provided. To access the handicapped parking area, please ensure the vehicle has current government-issued handicapped parking permits.

Due to security precautions, the recommended access route to the show for the general public is via the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The general public must process through security lines and then ride buses to and from Nellis Air Force Base. No privately owned vehicles without Department of Defense identification will be allowed on Nellis Air Force Base. Parking on base will be extremely limited.

Prohibited Items

In order to keep the security lines moving as quickly as possible, please take note of prohibited items while planning your day at Aviation Nation. The following is a list of banned items that will be confiscated or cause visitors to be turned away at the gate if brought to the Nellis Air Show:
