Raptors touch down at Spangdahlem

U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptors taxi after arriving as part of a Flying Training Deployment at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, Aug. 8, 2018. The FTD arrived from the 95th Fighter Squadron, 325th Fighter Wing, at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. and plans to conduct air training with other European-based aircraft over the next several weeks. As the world’s premiere operational 5th-generation fighter, the Raptor’s unique combination of stealth, speed, agility, and situational awareness combined with lethal long-range air-to-air and air-to-ground weaponry make it the best air dominance fighter in the world and perfect for assuring our allies of our capabilities and commitment.
