NEVADA TEST and TRAINING RANGE, Nev. -- A"Smokie SAM" simulated surface to air missile launches from a SA-6 threat system simulator at the Tolicha Peak Electronic Combat Range Oct. 26. The small rockets are fired in the air when a threat system operator has locked on to a target. The simulate surface to air missile give pilots a visual simulation during training on the Nevada Test and Training Range.

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Staff Sgt. Jonathan Agbeyegbe, Airman 1st Class Matthew Cruz and Senior Airman Alexander Pagan, load crew members from the 757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, distribute tools during the Weapons Load Crew Competition on the Nellis flight line, Oct. 9.
