8/8/2012 - NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- The Missoula Children's Theatre is coming to Nellis AFB to perform "The Secret Garden" on Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 18 at noon at the base theater.
Auditions will be held on Aug. 13 at 4 p.m. for first grade to 12th grade children, and those selected will be required to attend a two hour rehearsal following auditions. Rehearsals will take place on Aug. 14th, 15th, and 16th as well.
The MCT program performed "King Arthur's Quest" at the base theater last year, which drew 59 children who participated in two shows.
Over the past 40 years, the MCT program has fostered developmental life skills in more than one million children. This year, approximately 65,000 children in nearly 1,300 communities in all 50 states and 17 countries will participate in an MCT International Tour residency.
