Nellis Air Force Base has directed Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Charlie on Nov. 12 to combat the spread of COVID-19 across the installation and our local community.

Southern Nevada has recently seen a sustained increase in the number of positive COVID-19 cases.

HPCON Charlie permits mission-essential employees to work on base while allowing telework to the maximum extent possible. Large groups should be limited when possible and face coverings are required on base.

Airmen are highly encouraged to avoid crowds, bars, and individuals not following CDC guidance and State of Nevada policy.

Nellis Air Force Base leadership, including its medical professionals, continue to monitor and work closely with federal, state and local health officials to ensure response efforts are coordinated.

Force health protection is our top priority, and we will continue to ensure that Department of the
Air Force personnel have the most up-to-date information on appropriate measures to prevent potential spread of the virus.
