Aviation Nation Media Preview Nov 10
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. – Nellis Air Force Base invites local media to the Aviation Nation 2017 Air and Space Expo preview show scheduled for Nov. 10 here from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The preview show is an opportunity to interview base leadership and event organizers as well as receive access to the Air and Space Expo acts before the show is open to the public Nov. 11 and 12.
Headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, this year’s Air and Space Expo features aerial demonstrations by the F-22 Demo Team, USAF Heritage Flight (various former Nellis aircraft), USAF Air-to-Air Demo, USAF Combat Search and Rescue, Wings of Blue, USAF Close Air Support, Arrow Dynamics, Bremont Horsemen, Red Eagles, Red Bull’s Team Chambliss and Skydive Team, Jerry “Jive” Kerby, Sticky Strickland, Texas Flying Legends, Mike Wiskus, Greg Colyer flying the T-33 and Bill Braack “Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car Show.” (Acts subject to change.)
The Aviation Nation 2017 Air and Space Expo commemorates the U.S. Air Force’s 70th anniversary and the barriers Airmen have broken in air, space and cyberspace. This event will depict the history of American aviation and salute recent accomplishments of America’s military in operations around the globe through numerous military and civilian ground displays. Dozens of aircraft representing America’s aviation history will be on display alongside some of the nation’s newest military aircraft.
