NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. - A Security Forces K-9 unit alerted on a vehicle at the Creech Air Force Base, Nevada main gate today at approximately 8:27 a.m.
Air Force emergency response forces responded to the incident, initially establishing a cordon that closed traffic on U.S. Route 95.
The situation terminated safely at approximately 11:06 a.m., after it was determined no dangerous items were present.
