NELLIS MAIN GATE, ROADS REOPEN AFTER BOMB THREAT

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. – At approximately 4:50 a.m. an individual arrived at Nellis Air Force Base main gate suspected of driving under the influence.  Security Forces questioned the individual who stated he had a bomb in the car.

“We take all threats to our Airmen, families and installation seriously. We are grateful for the support of local law enforcement during today’s events,” said Colonel Paul Murray, 99th Air Base Wing commander, “We are glad the situation terminated uneventfully.”
